「新厝起好啊真舒適，當初應該卡早來翻厝，莫想講要一坪換一坪才答應，新厝的價值袂當按內比，住得安全舒適擱卡重要。」這是我們訪談一位阿嬤，她分享自己老屋變新宅的喜悅。在老舊住宅佔全市總戶數近一半的新北市，這本小小刊物所欲傳遞的觀念和資訊相當重要。團隊以扎實的田調訪談，讓社區居民訴說自己參與都更改建的故事——打破長久以來許多人執念於「一坪換一坪」的迷思，實現「一坪換好坪（也是好評）」的各種可能。
全住宅の約半数を老朽住宅が占める新北市において、この小さな冊子が伝える理念と実践的な情報は、大きな意義を持っています。制作チームは綿密なフィールドワークとインタビューを重ね、地域住民が都市更新（都更）に参加した実体験を丁寧に記録しました。その物語は、多くの人々が長年抱いてきた「1坪は1坪で返してもらうべき」という固定観念を問い直し、面積だけにとらわれるのではなく、より良い住環境と暮らしの質を実現する新たな可能性を示しています。
In New Taipei City, where older homes account for nearly half of all housing, the ideas and practical information presented in this compact publication are especially meaningful. Based on extensive field research and in-depth interviews, the team documents the firsthand experiences of residents who have taken part in community urban renewal projects. Their stories challenge the long-held obsession with a strict “one-for-one” replacement in floor area, revealing that urban renewal is not simply about preserving the same amount of space, but about creating better homes and a better quality of life.
